From the wicker sofa of Allie.....

We are in Chiang Mai Thailand for our conference after spending some time relaxing at the beach.  It has been a wonderful time to see our Beijing friends.  We haven't been able to upload any pictures to the blog for some reason lately so we will do a recap as soon as we can.

The funny thing about being in paradise and getting to relax (not that I have ever been that good at relaxing but...) is that it gives me more time to think about how much I miss my family, my dogs, my friends, my co workers, everything.  It sounds silly and I am not complaining about being warm or eating great food.  But it seems that I have no purpose here and without a purpose, why am I far away from the things I hold so dearly?  Even typing that I feel absolutely spoiled by the Father.  So I will keep my mouth shut and thank Him for this time here.
