Sawatdee ka! (That means hello in Thai)

From the wooden pub chair of Allie....

Let me first apologize for the scattered posting of the past few weeks and the next few weeks. Since we are in Thailand we are at the mercy of the guesthouse wifi...which now that I think about it is just like being at the mercy of Chinese government wifi.  So I take back the apology, you should be used to it by now :)

Chris and I are in Thailand for a few weeks for a conference and to do some traveling.  In the States, Chris would always tell me that he would not go outside if it was cold enough to see his breath.  In Hengyang, Chris could see his breath inside our apartment.  So with that in mind when we were given the chance to travel, we decided to go as far south as possible.  Our first stop was Koh Lak, its on the Andaman Coast just north of Phuket.  Its the area that was hit worst by the tsunami in 2004.  We went there because they have some of the best snorkeling in the world (according to the internet) and it was pretty stinkin beautiful.

This little guy was right in front of me when I jumped off the boat!

Wait, we have a waterproof camera....much better

And this is where we spent our days reading and enjoying His creation.
