We are taking a break from our regularly scheduled (catch-up) blogging to make an important announcement.
No, we are not opening an etsy page with Chinese inspired apparel. Chris and I are going to have a baby in January!!!! We are super excited/blessed/freaked out/ecstatic/confused/thrilled/happy and a hodgepodge of other emotions depending on the day and moment that you ask us.
It is an unbelieveable blessing and we are still trying to wrap our heads around it. We are excited to share this new adventure with you guys and just ask that you will continue to support us with prayer.
Here are some answers to some questions you might be having:
Question: Are you really going back to China next year?
Answer: Yes, we are going to go back to China at the end of August, we will be moving to a larger city (Changsha) in order to get better pre/post natal care.
Question: Where will the baby be born?
Answer: We are planning on having the baby at Bumrungrad International Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. We had a chance to see it while we were in Thailand recently and it is beautiful!
Question: Will the baby be Thai if it's born in Thailand?
Answer: It will have a Thai birth certificate but not a Thai passport. So...kinda?
Question: Will the baby wear split pants or diapers?
More details to come!

So word is out?!?! Yay for Baby Young-ster (Tama was on to something with that!)! Can't wait for photos, my sweet beautiful Allie! Congrats, congrats, congrats! Oh, and it's really weird to see the States in the "Where in the world" part. Ha! How long will you be in MN? We'll be there in July! Much love!
ReplyDeleteYAY!!! Christopher and I are SO SUPER EXCITED for you guys! Congratulations!!!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you both! Excited to meet the little young-in (ha! ha!)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your summer!
Love ya,
Erin
Congrats! Bumangrad Hospital is INCREDIBLE - great choice! Also, babies born in Thailand in the eyes of the Thai government receive citizenship of their father, and the embassy in Thailand is great so they can do all the paperwork for you if you have to get it done in Thailand. Though it would be pretty cool if the baby was "Thai."
