One of the greatest baby gifts we received was this thing called the Swaddle me. It is basically all the benefits of a swaddle without all the technique of actually folding and fastening a regular blanket. This thing has been a life saver. I don't think Emerson went to sleep without it for the first 3 months of her life. One fun side effect of having her arms regulated to her sides while she slept is that when she would wake up her arms went up by her head to stretch. I am speechless for how cute I found this, so instead, here's a video.

What's funny is that after about a month of her doing this, I realized that if you wake up Chris after he has been sleeping for a long time....he does the same thing :)
