As a Westerner, I always assumed that pizza was invented in Italy. Who else could create such a great Italian delicacy?? However, at some point in my public education I was presented with the idea that perhaps pizza was invented by the Chinese. But, we don't eat pizza with chopsticks, so this can't possibly be true... right?! Yesterday Allie and I came across this ancient pizza restaurant. Based on its architecture it must be thousands of years old. Surely it was just recently acquired by a restaurant chain....
