Chinese "characters"

Several times a week when I'm walking around small town China, I look around and can't help but laugh. "Am I really here?? How in the world did I get here?? What is the world is going on here??" These are some of my thoughts on a normal day, but once in awhile, God joins in the fun and sends me what I call a "Chinese character." And no, I'm not talking about the Chinese writing system. I'm talking about those people who seem just as out of place as me, even though they're often Asian. Here are some of my favorites:

Chinese cowboy-- Ni hao, partner.

Chinese safari man-- Does this bus take me to the lions?
