One of the things I admire most about the Chinese people is their ingenuity and talent. If there is a task to accomplish, a problem to solve, or an obstacle to overcome-- they will find a way. A few nights ago Allie and I were huddled under our umbrella, trying to stay dry while walking through the rain on our way back home. We looked up in front of us and saw this man. Even though he didn't have an umbrella, he found a piece of wood, and was managing to balance it on his head (without using his hands) while walking home. It was probably blocking more of the rain than our umbrella!
