For our final full day in Thailand we decided relax and go to the Chiang Mai zoo. Now, if you remember our trip in February to the Chiang Mai zoo, then you know that, Thai zoos are anything but relaxing. Fortunately, the hippos were safely occupied with eating their lunch and we were able to continue through the zoo without repeating that horrifying experience.
So next it was on to the African animals section...which meant, giraffes and more elephants!
We don't have food yet so the giraffe is ignoring us.
That's better, green beans. Who knew how knobbly giraffes heads were?

This elephant looks remarkably fake, but it is very real.
Now, on to the carnivores!
Chris is making the leopard work for it.

It was another wonderful day in Thailand with Molly and Chris. The next day we began our epic journey back to China and final to the United States.
