Only a week left until our due date! As part of our "checklist of things to do," we needed to find some Godparents for our little girl. "Godparents" mean different things to different people, so let me explain what our definition is. We don't expect the godparents to take care if the baby if something were to happen to Allie and me-- that's what our family is for! But, we do want godparents that will take a special interest in the life of our child. We were hoping for a couple that we respect/admire in all aspects of their lives, a couple that supports us and can help guide our little girl in her spiritual growth. After spending some time in prayer we both had the same couple in mind and thankfully, they said yes! This summer we happened to take a picture with them, so let me introduce you to the godparents of our little girl (in our first picture all together)! Kanhka and Olivia Linthavong! And yes, it's OK to be jealous of our unborn child and her awesome godparents... we are!
