The fifith anniversary is the diamond anniversary

As you have probably guessed or most of the male readers have alreay vehemently insisted, the fifth anniversary is not in fact the diamond anniversary.  As C and I celebrated 5 glorious years together yesterday (Beijing time) I tried in vain to convince him that it was.  No luck there although it was a fun day.

As a side bar, the internet has been super duper spotty so the fun posts about our first meal in Beijing and the flight will be posted later because the video will not load. 

Back to the event.  Well most of the day, until about 3pm, we sat in chairs and listened to just how little we know about the culture and the ways we will be challenged by the lack of electricity, running water, and recognizable food.  Haters gonna hate :)  After that we explored the city with some of our new friends, found a Chinese dept store, and rode 3 different buses.  Video of the bus ride will be posted once we get the blog working faster.  In the culmination of the day we enjoyed the cheapest anniversary dinner of our marriage.  We paid just over $1 for two egg burrito crepe things from a street vendor.  I cant remember the Chinese name but they were awesome. 

Please notice the random guy in the background looking at us like we are crazy.  Well good sir, we are crazy, crazy in love....and in China :)

We are off to the zoo to try and hug some pandas now.  Love you guys!
